A wonderful idea for a photo montage from a client, combining an old photo and current photo to create a new portrait celebrating a friendship that has lasted a lifetime. The two photos were scanned, “deep-etched” which means carefully digitally extracting from the background and combined together with a custom cloudy studio-type background. The images from the old photo were deliberately faded and darkened slightly to indicate visually that they were in the past. The finished image was then professionally lab-printed ready for framing.
